SO HAVE YOU ALWAYS SUCKED THIS MUCH?

COMBINED RECORDS OVER THE LAST THREE SEASONS

The Hambassadors
Record: 31-20 (.608)
Comments: Why is this the team we love to hate? The team’s success, for one. That Mattis for another…he’s just so smug. But say what you will, the winningest team over the last three years boasts one title and two 3rd place finishes.

The Funky
Record (2 seasons): 20-13-1 (.603)
Comments: Two seasons, two 2nd place finishes. Both times the team has matched the win total of that season’s league champion.

Drifter Redux
Record (2 seasons): 19-12-3 (.603)
Comments: The team sat out the 2002 season for reasons still not fully known, but team officials were employed as consultants during that season for the eventual champion Stamford Fromundas. If you add those 10 wins and 7 losses, Drifter’s three-year record goes to 29-19-3 (.598). In addition to the 2003 championship, the team also took home the top prize in 2000. The team is moving inland for the 2004 season and hopes to have a new stadium completed in the ‘big city’ before the start of pre-season action.

Peaches N Herb
Record: 27-23-1 (.539)
Comments: While the team seems to be in the hunt year-after-year, they have yet to win, place or show. They have managed to finish as high as 4th place, doing so twice in both 2001 and 2003.

The Hui
Record: 26-24-1 (.520)
Comments: Lost the league championship in 2001 to the Hambassadors in a total points tie-breaker. Finished 12-5 that season but has since gone 14-19-1 (.412). The 2004 season will be the team’s first full-year in their new Hovanville location.

405s
Record: 26-25 (.510)
Comments: Although the team’s three-year record sits just a click above .500, the team does still stake claim to the most wins in a season (14) and a league title during that 1998 inaugural season.

The Streak
Record: 24-27 (.471)
Comments: To the franchise’s credit, if you look at records over the past 4 seasons their win percentage jumps to .529 with a 36-32 record. There are rumors swirling that the team may relocate before the 2004 campaign gets under way.

War Pigs
Record (2 seasons): 16-18 (.471)
Comments: The team’s overall winning percentage is certainly not helped by the fact that they lost their last six games in 2003.

Mopo Shadowdancers
Record: 23-26-2 (.471)
Comments: If the league played 8 or 9-week seasons, the Shadowdancers would probably own one if not two league titles. But franchises that don’t finish, don’t flourish. The team is struggling to finance a new facility in their new Hillsdale location. If something isn’t worked out soon, the franchise could be defunct before Draft Day.

East Coast United
Record: 22-29 (.431)
Comments: Odd to find the 2002 league champion at the bottom of the heap when it comes to record over the last three years, but here they are none the less. Their championship season is sandwiched between a pair of six win seasons. It should also be noted that the year they won the title they did so with just a 10-7 record. That same year, the last place Banana Slugs finished the year with just 3 less wins with a 7-10 record, which is why that 2002 season is called one of the most competitive in fantasy football history.
Comments:
Career decisions made entirely based on team name apropososity.

Sausalito Steak?
Golden State Streak?
Venice Beach Streak
La Streak
Brooklyn Streak

if commisioner Asplund allows, it might be the Vegas Streak.

We'll probably just change the name when the franchise moves anyhow.
