The weekly prizes did their job in the final two weeks of the seaon by inspiring those teams destined to finish out of the money to play hard for the duration of the entire season. Case in point: The last-place United, who won both of the final two weekly prizes with an upset victory over the ricky in Week 16 and a narrow loss to the Wildcats in Week 17.

The West Beverly Wildcats are the 2004 champions of the ZFL. RB Larry Johnson and TE Jason Witten helped the Cats to a thrilling come-from-behind Week 17 victory over the United, who really seemed to hit their stride in Weeks 16 and 17. The much-hated Hambassadors finished in second and the happy fun ball completed the first money-finish run in franchise history by finishing third.
